October was a special month at Speedrack Products Group as we celebrated Employee Ownership Month, recognizing what it means to be an employee-owned company and the role every employee plays in our shared success. Our ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) is more than a benefit; it’s the foundation of our teamwork, pride, and commitment to excellence, as well as a long-term wealth building strategy for employees.
The month was full of fun events that brought our ownership culture to life. Employees competed in a Chili Cookoff Contest, tackled Employee Ownership Word Searches, and shared feedback through a company-wide survey to help make Speedrack an even better place to work. Families joined in at Walker and Quincy for pumpkins, candy, and a Trunk-or-Treat. Families (and adults!) shared their artistic skills in a Coloring Contest, showing our company pride in full color.
We also hosted our second annual ESOP Breakfast and Vesting Ceremony to honor those who are now fully vested. Employees received the new Owner’s Manual and Field Guide, designed to help everyone better understand what it means to be an owner. We wrapped up the month with a sweet Speedrack candy bar for every employee.
Being employee-owned benefits more than just our team. It is an asset to our customers as well. When every employee has a stake in the company’s success, it drives higher quality, stronger service, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement. Those are results we all feel good about – in Employee Ownership Month and all year long.
