At Speedrack, we believe the best ideas come from the ground up— from the people who do the work every day. That’s why we formed the Innovation Review Board (IRB): a cross-functional team of 8 employee-owners from both Quincy and Walker. Their mission? To evaluate, elevate, and implement innovative ideas submitted by our employees to make our work safer, easier, and more efficient.
We recently wrapped up a company-wide IRB Idea Contest, and the participation was incredible! Across Quincy and Walker (office and production staff) we received 99 total suggestions — with 74 submitted online via QR code and 25 dropped into our floor ballot boxes. Even better, 41 different employees contributed ideas!
While the contest has ended, our commitment to innovation has not. We still want your input. Any idea, big or small, has the power to make a real difference. Whether it helps improve safety, reduce time, save money, simplify a process, or solve a long-standing problem — it matters.
To celebrate the spirit of innovation, we held a prize drawing in each group. Here are the Big Ticket Winners:
-
Quincy: Ferdy Bergen Henegouwen
-
Walker: Brittany Bylsma
-
Office Staff: John Loose
A huge thank you to everyone who participated. Let’s keep the momentum going — share your ideas with the IRB anytime.
Because progress at Speedrack starts with you.
