Going Bananas for Better Storage

Savannah Bananas | Savannah, GA

Background

The new 100,000-square-foot facility, more than double the size of the previous warehouse, was designed to maximize storage capacity while streamlining inventory flow. Speedrack supplied highquality selective pallet rack systems while Apex led the layout design, budgeting, planning, and installation.

Challenge

Built for Bigger Crowds and Bigger Demand
The Savannah Bananas needed a warehouse solution capable of supporting rapidly increasing merchandise demand across e-commerce fulfillment and live events. Inventory needed to move efficiently, storage space had to scale vertically, and workflows needed to remain flexible enough to keep pace with the team’s growing national presence.

Smarter Movement Across the Warehouse
The operation also required material handling equipment that could safely and efficiently navigate tight warehouse aisles while supporting long shifts and fast inventory movement.
